It may also be a good idea to talk to your insurance company, informing them of your decision to undergo tummy tuck surgery, as it could mean a rise in the cost of future premiums. As a tummy tuck involves surgery, you need to be sure that you have exhausted all your other weight loss options, before you go ahead with it. Unfortunately the scars from the surgery can be permanent following a full tummy tuck.
