There are so many beaches in Zakynthos that your holiday to Zakynthos will help you get a beautiful tan. The Argassi beach is popular and has a sandy beach with an incredible view of the water. The beach and the water is perfect for single and families. The Kaminia beach is less popular, but that just means that it will be less crowded and it will allow for a more peaceful time in the sun. These two beaches are just a couple of the area beaches that everyone enjoys. The water is always nice and warm.
Vourderi beach and Porto Zoro beaches are also great beaches for water fun. Porto Zoro has amazingly clear water that is calm most of the time. Very few people go to this beach, which makes it peaceful and a great place to take the kids. They will have the entire beach to run around and play. Then there is Banana beach and Porto Roma beaches. These beaches are also popular and they do attract quite a few visitors. If you go to Banana beach, you would think you were walking into a sleeping room. The sunbathing chairs are all placed in even lines up and down the beach. This would be good for kids, but the play area would be limited. This is a beach for sunbathing.
Xigia beach is secluded and has no facilities for any reason. The beach is small and would be great for a couple that does want to be disturbed. The other beach is Galazies Spilies otherwise known as Blue Caves. This is more of an attraction than a beach. If you want to see something amazing, you have to see this beach. To try to describe this beach would do it an injustice. The water is almost as clear as a bathtub. The rock formation with a hole washed out is intriguing. You really need to see this area.
Besides sunbathing, the beaches also have areas where you can enjoy some water sports. Scuba diving, snorkeling and windsurfing are just a couple of things people enjoy doing. There are beaches that are especially suited for water sports and some that are just suited for sunbathing and a swim here and there. There are more beaches in Zakynthos that are just as popular. There are more beaches it seems than anything else. The best-kept secrets are the secluded beaches that the locals can tell you about when you ask.
Holidays to Zakynthos are fun and exciting. You can choose a beach and enjoy a day in the sun. There are other things to do, but the beaches will captivate you. The restaurants, bars and shopping can be done at night because the days are for the beautiful beaches. If you need a great place to enjoy beautiful beaches, you will enjoy a vacation to Zakynthos. The weather is always nice and the water is always inviting. Look for the beaches that have the facilities and restaurants on the beach and stay for the entire day.
