Modern men nowadays prefer a little bit of accessories to enhance their look. Perhaps the staple jewelry that men usually prefer is an earring. Ear piercing is one of the fads that men are dying to have these days.
Most men really love to have their ears pierced. Some may find this rather distasteful, since you have to undergo the whole pain just to have two holes pierced in your ears. Others say that this fact is totally trivial, in contrast with the look that you are going to be projecting. Sporting an earring or two is considered perhaps one of the most hip and stylish ideas that a man can think of. It contributes to enhancing one's look. An earring will definitely complement the look of your husband or fiancé no matter what he is wearing. Will he be wearing a laid-back casual on a Saturday afternoon? Then a hoop earring will probably complete this get-up. Will he be attending a formal event? A more casual stud earring will do the trick.
Sporting an earring is entirely for men who care to have a more sophisticated, modern look. Wearing earrings is mostly associated with women, but once that a man realizes the value of diversity in his image, and then it is certainly worth the try.
The designs of earrings for men come in various shapes and forms. For stud earrings, silver is probably the most popular type used. These earrings are accentuated with various stones and other designs, among others. These are relatively simple yet elegant styles, and they are not relatively flashy because they are of a small size. Sterling silver is considered as one of the traditional materials in which men's earrings are fashioned out of, perhaps because of its relatively elegant look.
Hoop earrings are also popular in the market. Most men consider sporting a hoop earring quite stylish and sophisticated. Jewelry designers from United Kingdom believe that a hoop earring suits the modern man, because it looks funky and trendy. Some jewelers add a hint of color and design to hoop earrings rather than just leaving it plain. This adds life and vibrancy to the over-all image of the wearer. Hoop earrings, which are more commonly known as huggies, can also be made of silver and titanium, among other precious metals.
Sporting an earring may be a drastic image change for a man, but it is certainly worth the try. If he is exuding the same look day after day and year after year, it is probably high time to have a variation with his look. If he is the type who would want something relatively new and funky, then an ear piercing may just do the trick.
