If you are a devout Christian, you want to keep your kids away from any negative influences during Halloween. Witches and devils are very inappropriate for young Christian kids, and the theme of Halloween itself is too pagan for your children to celebrate. Instead of sitting them home this Halloween, send them off trick-or-treating with these Christian Halloween costumes. These are costumes approved in the name of Christ -- something that you know will not negatively influence young, impressionable children.
Saintly Angels and Such
Angels and saints are closest to God, great influences on young kids. It was the angel Gabriel himself who told Mary she was pregnant with Jesus. Angels guide people to safety in life-threatening circumstances, what we call 'miracles' in today's age. Your kids might be apprehensive about this saintly idea, since it's not the coolest costume they could wear on Halloween. Fit kids with a brown beard, sandals, and white robe, shepard's stick in tow. What a Christian way to celebrate Halloween, ridding children of any negative, Satan-like costumes.

Lambs are saintly animals, sacrificed in the name of God thousands of years ago. Lambs are the calmest of animals, promoting peace, tranquility, and non-sinful activities. They're purely Christian down to their fluffy tummies, a fan favorite of all little kids. Dress your kids as these cute little creatures for a Christian alternative to those Satanic Halloween costumes this year.
The Godly Priest
We look to priests for guidance in times of hardship, and kids look to them to form the mold for their Christian education. Priest costumes are a great alternative to any pagan-themed costumes (such as witches or devils), and priests serve as great examples to your budding youngsters. Both boys and girls can wear these Christian costumes and wear them proudly.
Monks and Nuns
Monks and nuns devote their life to Christian, pure devotion of God himself. Their only goal is to serve the man above, great examples for young kids looking for their own personal heroes. These are pure Christian costumes appropriate for young kids to emulate. Girls can dress up as pure nuns; boys as saintly monks. A daily reading of the Bible will strengthen their convictions in why these saints are true Christian heroes.
As you can see, Halloween doesn't need to be a negative, pagan holiday for your kids. Halloween can be a fun, Christian experience, and exposure to this festive holiday won't stifle your kids' beliefs in God and Jesus. Have fun – and of course, God bless.
