With just a few tips to spice up your love life, you can be well on your way to building the excitement and romance you want in your relationship. It's really not that difficult to add some spark to your romance. Often it's the little, simple things that make all the difference.
Are you ready to dig in for some tips to spice up your love life?
Tip #1: Feel Sexy
Purchase something sexy for yourself. This could be lingerie or underwear for women, or silky boxers for men. It could also be something as basic as a hot new top or dress, or a t-shirt that shows off your broad chest and muscles for the men.
When you feel sexy, you will act sexier as well. Your partner will pick up on the fact that you are feeling sexy, and they will respond to you differently. Doing something as simple as wearing something sexy can really put you both in the mood for some sexy fun.
Tip #2: Bring Back the Flirting
The second of our tips to spice up your love life is to do some flirting. Do you remember when you first started dating your partner, and the flirty way that you talked to them and acted around them? It's time to bring that back!
You might want to start out a bit slow on this one, especially if your relationship has been pretty routine for a long time. You don't want to lay on the heavy flirting too hard and too fast! So start simple and slow, building it up as your partner responds and you get a feel for what they really like.
Tip #3: Get a Date
No, I don't mean a date with someone else I mean schedule a date with your partner. If you have children, then hire a babysitter for the night grandparents or other relatives can be a great resource for this, as they enjoy spending time with the kids. Your goal is to have the entire evening and the whole night if you can to just the two of you.
Prepare a romantic meal at home, or go out to one of the favorite spots that you used to frequent when you started dating. Pick a spot that has a lot of great memories for both of you, if you can.
Dress nice for your date. Pretend like this is your first date with your partner and take extra care with how you look, smell, feel, etc. You want to be at your very best for them.
Ban certain conversation topics for the evening. Don't talk about work, the kids, the dirty dishes, or any of those kinds of topics. Use the time and conversation to get to know your partner better. Talk about "us" or your dreams and hopes. Talk about some of the great memories you have from your time together. Use this time to really connect on a personal and intimate level.
If you are able to get the whole night to yourselves, then take advantage of it!
Tip #4: Love Notes
Love notes are a great way to spice up your love life. Take just a few minutes to write your partner a sweet, romantic note and leave it somewhere they will find unexpectedly. Some good places to leave a romantic note are in their lunch, in their car, under their pillow, or in a pair of shoes that they wear all the time.
Your love note can be soft and sweet, or it can be erotic and super sexy. Use your note to tell them things that you love about them, admire about them, or want to do to or with them.
Tip #5: Pampering
Pampering is a great way to let your lover know how you feel and care about them. A massage, a hot bath, a meal prepared especially for them, or a day out at the spa can all be great ways to pamper them. You can even do a day of pampering together, where you both spend the day at the spa, or go get a massage, or enjoy a nice bath together. This can be a great way to learn to relax and be taken care of together.
