Some relationships just grow apart and things end for the best. In other cases a relationship ends because the lines of communication are not open. The first secret really isn't a secret so much as common sense. Honest open communication is the key to getting back into your lovers arms. You both need to be willing to talk about your needs and what you want from your partner. Arguing is not communicating, so avoid subjects that will lead to a disagreement. You may also need to let some time pass before attempting an honest conversation. We all tend to say hurtful things when we are upset, so wait until you can talk without tearing out each other's throats.
Another secret is to put little hints out there that you are ready for another relationship. You can say something very small that suggest having a future together and judge how you ex partner reacts. If they ignore your hinting, than make a last attempt a little more obvious.

The next secret is to speak with actions not words. You're going to have to prove to your partner that you are able to change. No amount of saying how much you've changed will convince that person that you are serious. Proving that you have truly changed will probably take some work on your part, so come up with a few ideas to show them that really do care.
