"Luck comes and goes...Knowledge Stays Forever!" This saying is very true with regards to Ladbrokes poker game. According to the rule, poker players do not bluff. But more than often the opposite is true. If you have understood that players at your table are weak and know that they are capable of laying down hands, by all means take advantage. Try to take the pot away from them with a bluff, which in that situation is a high percentage play. Now, the question arises whether it's a good ploy or not? At Ladbrokes poker game, avoid bluffing just for the sake of bluffing. When a player bets on a hand that could be a bad hand at that moment, but has a chance of improvement in future, it is called a semi-bluff. This indicates a player with a positive frame of mind. Before you make any decision at the poker table, especially the decision to bluff, you should be armed with a well thought out plan and a legitimate reason for carrying it out. Bluffing is a part of the game. You should not get too carried away with it. This tactic can go against you, since other players can intimidate you and result in your early exit from the Ladbrokes poker game. Therefore, use semi-bluff more than straight bluff, as you do have a chance of improving your hand in this case. Remember that you can only do this when there are more cards to come, though the common misconception regarding bluffing is that one can bluff anyone during the course of the game. This erroneous thinking can cost you some serious dough. You can surely get lucky with a bluff and make someone fold their hand, but in reality the player who folded probably had a terrible starting hand, completely missed the flop, or was bluffing, and perhaps all of the above! The ideal target of a semi-bluff are tight passive players who will more than likely fold their hands to your first bet, assuming they did not make a strong hand on the flop. This is your best bet! Your win is assured either when your opponent folds to your bet or makes the best hand via your draw. But be weary of tight passive players who call your bet or even make a raise when you are semi-bluffing. They've probably got a monster! The whole scenario will be clear with this assumption. For example, if a player has 4 cards to a straight or flushes in Texas Hold'em on the flop and bets, then it is a case of semi-bluff. The semi-bluff is a powerful weapon while playing Ladbrokes poker game. But make sure the conditions are right for a bluff before you start throwing your chips around senselessly. There is no better feeling than a successfully executed bluff. It will make you feel like a king. On the other hand, a bluff gone bad could lead to an early end to your night.
