How do I find a good estate agent? is a question most people ask before they sell their home through one.
Many people make the mistake of hiring the first real estate agent that they come across, and in no time at all they are fed up with the person they are doing business with.
While this does not happen often, you want to make sure that you do everything you can in order to avoid this problem.
The best way that you can do this is by interviewing an agent before you hire them. This may sound like going overboard a bit, but all in all it is a necessary part of the hiring process.

Make sure that you not only hire a real estate agent that is experienced in selling homes, but also that you find somebody who you do not mind working with as a person. If you do not get along with them it is going to make for a rough time when having to communicate.

There is no rush when hiring a real estate agent. Take your time to speak with each one, and then make a decision on what you are told. If you are having a tough time making a final decision there is nothing wrong with making another round of phone calls to narrow things down a bit.
