Don't always go for the cheapest land you find. It may sound like a good idea, but why is it so cheap? If there are no problems with the land itself then it must be difficult to sell, that's why it is so cheap. Buy land that you are sure will increase in value; otherwise, your investment is going to be pointless. You will be stuck with land you can't do anything constructive with.
Buying cheap land is not as easy as it might sound, but it is possibly the best investment one can obtain. You will have to take some time to search for the appropriate land, and make sure it is everything you need and nothing less.
