Unlike adults, children seem to store a lot of energy in their bodies. They don't seem to get tired after running around for hours. This is particularly true the moment winter season ends and they go running wild in the yard. It seems to me that their energies have been pent up for so long that they need to release a lot of it to be sane again. Therefore, buying toys specifically designed for outdoors will not only allow them to release those excess energies but will keep them busy and delighted at the same time.
One outdoor toy that you can give them is a playhouse. These are made from either wood or plastic. Playhouses can be decorated to make it appear like a small house where children can get in and pretend to cook and play household stuff. These are designed for both girls and boys.

Like any inflatable items, these too are easily stored after use.
Riding toys such as motorized bikes are also a wonderful item for kids. These come in a variety of styles and sizes. For little ones who don't know how the pedal works, there are riding toys that can be pushed manually by the parent while the child rides in it.
Wooden climbing frames are excellent for children who have passion in climbing. This toy works well for boys. If you have little children who cannot do the climbing, you can add swing to it so they can also enjoy the climbing frame as much as older children do. The nice thing about wood climbing frames is that it provides exercise for your boys. This will also enhance their climbing skills. Another thing you can add in a wooden climbing frame is a small playhouse on top of the frame, which the kids will surely enjoy.
Regardless of what kind of outdoor toy you buy for your children, the most important thing to consider is if the toy will fit to their liking. Once you were able to get what outdoor toy catches their interest, then selecting one for your kid won't be a difficulty anymore.
