Is this your very first MLM venture or have you walked the trail of tears with the rest of us?
It doesn't matter if you are an MLM rookie or if your ACN venture is your 20th attempt at establishing a home-based business… This information is for you.
If, however, you are among the top earners in ACN and are making 350K per month then you need not read any further. You are among the elite 2% of network marketers that make it in this business. We won't get into why or how you did it because it is definitely NOT the norm. Most of you were already part of an extensive culture of wealthy people or were fortunate enough to get involved with a group of people that were already established in network marketing businesses.
But I am going to share some great information with you because I know you are just dying to get your ACN business going. I know you are sick and tired of
• Attending meetings
• Hosting presentations and classes
• Learning the latest presentation
• Attending one-on-one meetings in coffee shops
• Setting up 3-way calls with your upline
• Listening to the latest and greatest angle to present the business
Ask yourself these questions and give an honest answer:
• Is your spouse sick and tired of hearing about your no-income business?
• Hiding your measly checks from your significant other because it doesn't even come close to paying for your monthly expenses?
• Handing out expensive literature, DVD's and CD's and being embarrassed to ask for them back if they are not interested (pretty tacky, huh)?
• Spending a small fortune on all those beautiful business aids. How much business have they really generated for your business?
• Promoting the company by paying for your very own company-sponsored website! Yeah! Let's spend some more money and promote our company instead of ourselves. No wonder the company just loves us. They should. In what other industry to reps pay the company to promote the company? Wow. What a concept!
So what's up with all this stuff your upline and company management is telling you to do? Why would they tell you to do all this stuff if it doesn't work? Surely they want you to succeed, right?
Well, not so fast. These techniques and methods really do work. And they work well -- but not for you. They only work for the company!
Let me explain it another way.
The company knows that when a rep signs up the first thing he or she is told to do is to make a list of 100 people including friends and family.
Let's keep the statistics low just to err on the side of being conservative. So out of those 100 names, you maybe sign up 10 people. Even if only 1 or 2 out of that 100 become business builders, you still were able to drop about 8 more new signups averaging a few hundred bucks.
These aren't big numbers so just add them up in your head.
Next, the average life of a rep is 2.5 months. So even if you only stay on as a rep for 2.5 months, you still exposed 10 additional people to ACN and they all placed orders.
Now don't forget about the 2 out of 100 names that want to build a business with ACN. What are they told to do first? You got it! Make their list of 100 names. And out of that 100 names, maybe 15 order and 3 want to become business builders…
I think you get the picture. And now you understand why this system works so well, FOR THE COMPANY.
And on top of all those great stats, you get to spend hundreds and thousands of dollars every year attending rah-rah events so you can watch that 1 to 2% of the reps strut across the stage sharing with you their story about how they did it and you can too.
Well I'm here to tell you that there is a better way, a way that will guarantee success and a way that really will change your life. And the best part of this is that you really do get to run your business from home. What a cool concept, a home-based business that you can truly work from home. Wow.
1. Stop trying to recruit everyone into your ACN business. Not everyone is cut out for network marketing and not everyone is your prospect. And I hate to be the one to tell you this but not everyone cares about your company's service. That's just the truth of the matter.
Finding your target market is key. But you can't learn how to do that overnight. It's just like marketing for every other business in the world. Your job is to find those who have a want, need or desire for your product.
2. Stop promoting your company and upline. No one cares about who founded the company or how long it has been around. They don't care about the who's who and they could care less about the latest techy stuff.
Every time you position your company or your upline for that matter as the expert, you are doing yourself a great disservice. You are basically telling your prospect that you have no idea what you are doing but you may be able to find someone else who is smart enough to answer their questions.
3. Don't try to become a superstar at marketing your business. You have learn how to market yourself. You do this by promoting the products or services and positioning yourself as the expert. You don't have to know everything about every product or service but pick a few and become an expert. That is how you acquire buyers and out of those buyers will evolve your business builders.
It has been proven time and time again that if you are not passionate about your product or service you will not succeed in the relative business. If you are only looking for opportunity seekers then that is exactly what you are going to get. And when the next opportunity comes along they will run from you and to the next greatest thing coming their way.
Instead of blowing all this money in promoting your upline and/or company, start spending the money on promoting yourself. This is how it's done in every other industry so why are we trying to change the business model just for our businesses. Let's do what works!
