How To Be The Sponsor Your Team Needs

The first, last and only thing that you need to remember when it comes to building a killer mlm business is that no matter how good you think your opportunity is you can't do it without people.

Many companies will advertise their opportunity as having the best products with a huge market of hungry buyers just waiting to hear from you.

Some will tell you all about their un-matched compensation plan, offering the best payouts online
Yet others will rave about the fact that they are offering you a one time only discount which will save you $xxx whilst making you $XXX more.

And while it's true that these are all aspects to consider when advertising your mlm or affiliateship none of them come close to touching on the most important point of all:

If you can't convince people that you will be there for them then they will have no desire to be there for you as part of your team.

So how do you convince someone that you will be there for them?

The truth is you can't. Not unless you actually will.

Even the newest people online quickly learn to develop their own inbuilt bull filter. And after being bombarded with biz ops all day we all learn to recognise the difference between a sales pitch and a real person.

It's real people that build a business and help others to do the same.

What does it take to become the kind of sponsor your team needs?

Think back to the time when you first started out online, it was a pretty big playground back then and all the big kids had the best swings made the best sandcastles and ate the best sweets. You on the other hand were probably standing at the bottom of the jungle gym with no idea how to climb your way up and no one to offer you a helping hand.

When a new person joins your team, let them know that you are a real person and not just an email autoresponder and give them a call.

It doesn't have to be a long call but introduce yourself and let them know that you will always be available to help them whenever they need you.

Find out what drives them and you will also find out the best way to help them.

If for any reason you can't call then send them an email but make sure it is distinguishable from the automatic company emails they will receive on signing up.

Share what you know. A lot of people online don't seem to want to share their ‘Secrets to Success' afraid, perhaps, that it will mean less profits for them. The truth is there are a lot of people out there and more than enough prospects to go around, so if you find something that works then tell your team. They will thank you for it in more ways than one.

Go the extra mile. With the wealth of information out there it is imperative that we constantly read and research the things that affect our businesses. However, when you're new you may not even know where to begin looking for this information. So if a member of your downline asks you a question, don't just send back some generic reply but really find them the best and most useful information you can by doing a little research on their behalf. Just think how many other people you could then help with that information.

Don't forget. Your teams may get so excited in your business that they head off in a flourish of enthusiasm and start making decisions without consulting you. They will have all the best of intentions but without the right guidance… we all know how the saying goes. So it's up to you to keep in contact and remind them that you are there. Contact your team regularly offering advice, tips or just your time. Remember, you will probably know what they need before they know that they need it.

Any kind of success, online and off, requires a network of people ready and willing to help each other climb to the top of their jungle gym and become the kings of their castles.

Happy climbing
