Painting one's house usually seems like a drag, as many people associate it with back breaking work that takes the entire day or even two whole days. In addition to being prepared to tackle the exterior house painting project, working with friends also makes the entire process go faster and much smoother. Being able to interact with others while painting will help take your mind off what may begin to seem like monotonous work. It will also allow you to bond with your friends as you spend time talking and working together while at the same time accomplishing the project. If you enjoy working with your friends and feel like you work better with some company, then perhaps starting a painting team will be a good way for you and your friends to make some extra money. Many college students take on small labor jobs such as exterior house painting to earn some extra cash while going to school. Not only does it allow students a little more financial freedom, it also gives them valuable real world experience, whether they realize it or not. Running and maintaining a successful painting team takes good people management skills, requires a great deal of organization, builds teamwork and allows students to get experience in managing finances and expenditures. This can be a good opportunity for anybody looking to make some money, work alongside friends or just to get out of the house and do something they enjoy.
