Eating the right food is essential in weight loss. A person trying to lose weight must always watch the food he eats. This means no takeout or frozen processed foods. It also means calorie counting, selective shopping, healthy cooking, and portion control. For most people, this is an astronomical task. It is time consuming and working people do not have that much time to spare. Because of this, weight loss meal plans rose to stardom. They are pre-cooked healthy meals portioned and packaged and delivered right to the doorstep. They include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and snacks if wanted. They are highly convenient for those who want to lost weight but cannot be bothered with all the food watching it entails.

Bistro MD is one of the many weight-loss meal plans out on the Internet today. It claims to be doctor approved and prepared by professional chefs. They are cooked fresh, frozen, and delivered to the customer's home. One can order it by phone or online. Before the meals are shipped, they need to be first inspected and approved by the doctors. Customers also have a 24-hour access to their dietician. The menu is rotated so the customer will not get bored and can be anywhere from 1100-1400 Calories to prevent the body from adapting to a single count and stopping the weight loss.
There are four plans to choose from:
• 7 days of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
• 7 days of breakfast, lunch, dinner, without snacks
• 5 days of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
• 5 days of breakfast, lunch, dinner, without snacks
Contender Number Two
The Biggest Loser Meal Plan is designed by one of the nutritionists of the show. They partnered with Bistro MD so the process of ordering and preparing are the same. Basically, Bistro MD cooks, packs, and delivers the food and the Biggest Loser nutritionist only makes the menu. Available are a 5-day or a 7-day meal plan.
The Conflict: Bistro MD vs. Biggest Loser
The food is prepared by the same team of chefs so they pretty much taste the same. The food selection is also similar, except that the Biggest Loser more or less mirrors the meals on the show. It also gives a free dinner with the 7-day meal plan. The only difference is that with the Biggest Loser, the customer only gets two meal plan choices, which are significantly less expensive than that of Bistro MD's. However, Bistro MD also offers some free meals with online promos and coupons.
The Verdict of Bistro MD vs. Biggest Loser
Not much is going to happen in a Bistro MD vs. Biggest Loser battle. They are similar in every way except the prices and the number of plans. But if a winner must be chosen, the Biggest Loser Meal Plan would be it because it has the show to promote exercise, which is another essential part of a weight-loss quest. It also has an exercise guide out and a support group online.
