An important aspect of the car insurance quote is what the insurers take into account about your driving record. Different companies will go back a different amount of years, some go only back as far as three years, while others go back more.

Quotes for car insurance do differ from company to company and the hidden costs in a policy have to be taken into account. Once you have assessed all the information then you can go for the best deal.
Of course there are different types of policies and this should also be taken into account when comparing car insurance quotes. Third party insurance is the cheapest, but also covers you for a lot less than fully comprehensive which is the dearest level of insurance.
So take your time, shop around and make comparisons for the type and level of insurance that you require and don't forget to look at the small print hidden in the car insurance quote before going for the deal.
