When I first heard of Baby Legs, I imagined some sort of leggings for a girl. Not realizing they had such a wide range of colors and styles to fit even a boys need for leg protection or warmth. Of course my wife corrected me pretty quick on the need for such protection. My initial thought was to put more clothes on him. After all he is a boy.
But since he does not like to wear clothes, he will fight you on putting them on him, and as soon as you do he will have them, off as soon as he can. Sometimes as fast as you can you turn around. With Baby Legs, he stays warm and tends to not take them off. I guess they do not feel as stringent to him as pants or socks do, so a plus for Baby Legs.
Since he has worn them, I am impressed by the durability of Baby Legs. They have lasted his abuse while crawling around the house and even in the yard without any issues. He can even take them off and put them back on in his clumsy way without stretching them and making them unusable.
I would have to say my favorite design is the blue flames. He looks really cute as he races across the floor wearing them. It makes me think of the days when I used to imagine all my car toys having flames coming out of them as I played.
Of course they have a wide range of choices for girls, stripes and polka dots to go with the solid colors. Pretty much any outfit can be augmented with their wide range of choices. You might want to even design an outfit around one of the choices available.
Baby Legs are able to be used as arm warmers along with the normal use as leg warmers. So they can further augment any outfit in that way. With the ease of carrying them, they make more sense to use rather than a jacket at times, especially since you can throw one or two sets in your purse and diaper bag and forget about them until needed. Just pull them out when needed and put them on.
Since they can be used by anybody they can even help an adult stay warm. Although most uses will be for your kids, it is easy to see where you could use them to help keep your arms warm if you are out watching a fall football game or just need something to cover your arms.
I know my mind has changed from my initial thoughts about Baby Legs. I no longer think of them as just a baby product or a girl product. This is a product that can be used by both genders of all ages. This is definitely one of those products that will sit and waste space where ever it is stored, whether that be a purse, diaper bag or a glove box.
