Resin Patio Furniture - It's What Makes Your Summertime Living Easy

A common dilemma: You love everything about your patio furniture except for the time it takes to maintain it. But there are solutions. Plastic, polymer or resin patio furniture is virtually maintenance free, yet has the look of traditional painted wood furniture. So get rid of those thoughts that plastic furniture is low-cost, rickety junk. Today's manufacturers use several methods to ensure a quality product that will stand the test of time. Weighing in at an average of fifty pounds, this furniture sure isn't flimsy. Some use a thick and strong polymer that is purified and UV protected. Others such as Envirowood and Poly-Wood make their chairs and other furniture from recycled milk jugs and other plastic containers. This material is permeated with UV stabilized coloring which eliminates the need for finishing and ensures that the color you choose will not fade when left to the elements. Resin patio furniture absorbs no moisture so it will not rot, warp, crack or splinter. It is essentially impervious to sun, snow, rain and even chlorine and salt water. In fact, it eliminates the need for painting, staining, waterproofing, stripping and resurfacing, unlike furniture made of wood. All you need is a little soap and water to clean it periodically and you'll have beautiful furniture for many summers. Available in all shapes and sizes you can choose some classic Adirondack chairs with ottomans or some luxurious chaises for lounging. Observe your garden from a plastic bench and share a meal or a drink at one of the pub table sets. If the cottage chic look isn't for you try the vintage Chippendale style and indulge in something different. Once you have chosen the pieces you want to complete your backyard get away you can decide on the color you think will look best. Besides the traditional colors like natural, white and green you can choose from other shades such as sand, teak or patina. And if you want to go bold and be original you can add a splash of color with banana yellow, mint green or flamingo pink furniture. Place your plastic furniture on the patio, poolside or under a canopy of trees or an arbor for some shadowy relief from the afternoon sun. No matter what style you choose or where you put your resin patio furniture, you'll have places to sit and enjoy your not so far away escape. Sure there is more to creating a fabulous backyard retreat than simply buying a few pieces of stylish furniture. But maintenance free resin patio furniture is a great place to start. Choose your favorite color and design your patio for relaxing. Block out city noises with flowing water and add interest and color with containers of sweet smelling blossoms. Add some plush, patterned cushions to your resin patio furniture for a little pizzazz or maybe just a few pillows for fun. Whether you want to keep your new found paradise to yourself or share it with friends for impromptu get togethers you'll love being able to throw open your doors and extend your living space. It's hard to resist the simple pleasures of summer like fresh air, sunshine and resin patio furniture.
