Rihanna is declaring that she will leave the plunging necklines and skimpy skirts at home when she plays at Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur Stadium for her Good Girl Gone Bad Tour. The scheduled date for the appearance in Kuala Lumpur is February 13. Rihanna follows in the footsteps of Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne, both of whom adorned clothes with considerably more fabric than their usual attire in order to comply with the government guidelines regarding dress codes in the Muslim-majority country. Female performers are required to be covered from the top of their chests including shoulders, to her knees. Apparently Rihanna's management company has noted that it is aware of the regulations, especially after concerts performed by Stefani and Lavigne created an angry stir among conservative Malaysian Muslims. A branch of the Malaysian government critiqued Lavigne's onstage dance moves as, "too sexy" last year, but is now more concerned with the sexiness factor of Rihanna.
