If you are emotionally mature and committed to growing as an individual and are committed to emotional growth in your dating seeking relationship and your partner is not mature enough to agree to those goals, then you will not be having a successful mature dating relationship. It takes two to tango and you both need to be fully committed to having a mature dating relationship. You need to learn to work together to fully function in the emotional maturity that will bring you to a truly mature dating relationship.
