Ciao! That means ‘hello' in Italian. Looking to learn more? Well, there are actually quite a few different ways you can learn to speak Italian.

Back to School
Taking a class is a great way to learn the language. Not only will you receive the expertise from a fluent-speaking instructor, but you will also have the opportunity to converse in the language on a continual basis with your classmates in a group environment. Check out your local college or community center for the language classes they offer. Or if you prefer, there are private, one-on-lessons available as well.

At Home
There is an abundance of software available online to assist you in obtaining the skill of speaking Italian. Some programs are downloads provided to you instantly upon payment receipt, others are available on CD. The lessons may include written text and audio as well as video. And many of these programs guarantee results.

Study Abroad
One of the best ways to learn anything is by hands-on experience. By traveling to Italy to learn the language, you'll hear the dialect on a daily basis which will help you to become extensively familiar with it. However, it might be somewhat difficult to learn on your own, especially if you have no existing Italian language skills whatsoever. So, you might want to consider contacting one of the online companies that actually sponsor ‘on-site' learning courses. You can live and learn in the Italian city of your choice – Rome, Venice, Florence or Milan for example – and attend daily classes that are available at every level – beginner to advanced. The registration fee includes tuition, books, airport pick-up and accommodations as well as travel medical insurance and free internet access.

You'll also be provided with the opportunity to learn about the culture as well by taking part in sponsored cooking classes and guided tours through the centuries-old cities of Italy, or attending one of the social events hosted by the learning company.

Arrivederci!
