After a break up with your lover, you would be irritable and jumpy and would stare at your phone in hopes of him calling you any time. If he learns that you've been going out swimming or skiing, he'd be curious enough as to why you seem to live your life on your own terms and enjoying it. Start going out with your friends and act as if nothing has happened.
Also polish and upgrade your looks. Get some new clothes, have a beauty/spa makeover and go to the gym to work out, so that when your ex sees your new look he/she will be so impressed with you that you become irresistible to them.
Then try to run across your ex at a common public place like a mall or your club. Act normal and do not show at all that you are interested in getting him/her back again.This itself will make them long to be back in your arms.
