Fascination with jewellery, as has been determined by culture and social norms, is exclusively for women. This had been the myth that haunted most jewellery designers before, because getting across the interests of men so that their jewellery designs will also be an object of passion had been a challenge. True to the matter is that few years ago, men were not fond of wearing adornments. They would just intend to limit themselves to wearing watches (so that they can always set their priorities on track) or rings (wedding ring or band ring, for that matter so that the whole world will know that they are already taken). Men used to give a grin at his woman if he receives jewellery as a gift.
However, this situation is true years and years ago…. probably about million years ago? Nah, just an over reacting statement this is. Well, it is true that before, men would not want to be too stylish with jewellery because they are the active creations in this Earth, they have to be always on the go, and definitely wearing a heavy necklace or sophisticated bracelets is not for them because such adornments will just keep them from doing their heavy activities.
Even so, at present, things have changed… Men are now interested to jewellery- both in collecting and wearing them. Thank the jewellery geniuses for the innovations and creativity. The simple designs and appropriate materials used to represent the "manly man" are finally invented. The most stylized yet a very good representation of men's strong personality and active lifestyle is that of the metal choices. Not getting too far away from the image of men, jewellery designers provide an array of metals like titanium, tungsten carbide, and stainless steel. All of which speak of men's strength and versatility. Manufacturers of vehicles use these metals in producing rockets, trucks, ship, and other automobiles- that are equally very interesting for men. Metals are not only for cars but also for their jewellery so these metals easily get men's attention because they have created a connection with their interest and personality.
To enhance further the trendy style of made-of-metal-jewellery, designers also add diamonds, platinum, gemstones, leather, or rubber, and silver and gold accents. Guided by the rules of simplicity and sophistication, the products will definitely a winning jewellery for men. Hence, men do not have any second thoughts at all when it comes to wearing jewellery from watches to rings, from chains to bracelets, and from necklaces to pendants- all the same, men have finally found the jewellery that will not hold them back from their active lifestyle. They will not have to worry about the durability of their jewellery because for sure their metals will keep them active as long as they wish. This phenomenon is actually evident with sports personalities, movie stars, music icons, and even rock stars. Look at how consistent they are in maintaining their masculine aura even if they are wearing bracelet, necklace, ring, or watch- the jewellery is still sure to enhance their personality since modern fashion of accessories have already found the right material for the right guy.
